A2-level English/Happy Birthday/Reading 4

Hi, my name is Elizabeth and yesterday was my 10th birthday! It was the best day ever and I had so much fun with my friends and family.

My mom and dad helped me plan the party and we decided to have it in our backyard. We decorated the whole area with balloons, streamers, and lots of colorful decorations. We also had a big birthday cake with pink frosting and sprinkles, which was my favorite!

All of my friends came to the party and we played lots of games like pin the tail on the donkey and musical chairs. We also had a piñata filled with candy, and it was so much fun when we finally broke it open and all the candy fell out!

For lunch, we had pizza and soda, and for dessert, we had my birthday cake. I blew out all of the candles and made a wish, and then we all had a piece of cake.

I received lots of amazing gifts from my friends and family, including a new bike and a doll that I had been wanting for a long time. I felt so loved and happy that everyone came to celebrate my special day with me.

Overall, my birthday party was the best one I've ever had, and I can't wait for next year to do it all over again!
